Homemade Turtle Candy with Pecans and Caramel

*Ingredients

°64 pecan halves

°11 oz. Baking/cooking caramel

°1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

°Butter paper or silicone baking mat

*instructions

Lay the pecan halves flat side down on parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Separate them into groups of four, and shape them into cross or "x" shapes.

Leave some space between each group of four pecan halves. This will be the base of your turtle candy.

Unwrap the caramel wrap and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of water to the bowl, and microwave for 30 seconds at a time until completely dissolved and smooth.

Use a spoon to place the caramel mixture on the center of each batch of pecan halves on the baking tray. You can use generous help for each one.

Add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl, and heat them for 30 seconds at a time until they are completely melted and smooth.

Spoon the chocolate mixture over the caramel mixture in the center of each candy.

Place the tortoise in the freezer for at least half an hour before serving.

Enjoy !
